I want to share a true story with you because this incident had helped me to create a solution for you and me.

I’ve been using 2Checkout.com to collect credit card payment online for years by now and it's a great company. One day, while I’m checking my emails as usual, I received a sale notification from 2Checkout:

Subject: “… Order Number 1933861367

If you too are using 2checkout to collect credit card payment for your online business, you know that this is the best email to receive because it means that you’ve just got a sale.

But when I login into my account to check the latest payment, I wasSHOCKED! And couldn’t believe what I saw. I was horrified.

I kept on rubbing my eyes and refresh the page again and again like a mad man to make sure what I was seeing on the screen was not correct.

Do you know what I saw on my computer screen?

“I was getting sale but I was not getting paid!”

There was no credit card payment collection at all. But I kept getting sales notifications.

Do you want to know what had happened?

Other people were ‘stealing’ my digital products, bypassing 2Checkout and going to my download page directly without paying me any money!

What do you think my feeling was at that time?

I was sad …and PISSED!

So I’ve done my own research and finally, I know how these unethical thieves do it.

An important note I want to make is that, it’s NOT 2Checkout’s FAULT. This is part of the feature in it. It’s YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to make sure that you’re protected.

Example, if your house was robbed, is it the police’s fault? Or is it the real estate developer’s fault? Nope. It’s your fault because it’s your responsibility to make sure that your house is safe in the first place.
